My Lanterns

I made the blank MEME, so I figured that I should participate in making a group of Lanterns. So here they are.

Red Lantern Scorpion (Mortal Kombat): Scorpion's rage runs deep. He seeks revenge for the deaths of his clan and family and will go to any lengths to have it. Anyone who gets in his way will feel the rage that burns (literally) in Scorpion's soul. Even when he got his revenge on Sub-Zero, his rage was still not soothed. Hate, anger, and vengeance are all that Scorpion knows, and it fuels his desire to win any and all fights he gets into. Very few can stand against the rage of Scorpion.

Orange Lantern Flintheart Glomgold (DuckTales): I admit, Scrooge McDuck almost made it as my choice for the Orange Lantern. However, whereas Scrooge at least has morals and a level of honesty, this guy has none of that. He is willing to go to any lengths to get what he wants, whether that be lying, cheating, and blackmail. He might be the second richest duck in the world (Scrooge being the richest), but that won't stop Glomgold from obtaining as much wealth as possible to one day outshine Scrooge. His insatiable greed is what drives him to achieve this goal.

Yellow Lantern Darth Vader (Star Wars): If fear had a face, Darth Vader would be a strong contender for that honor. Seriously, when an entire galaxy cringes in fear at the very mention of his name...That's quite the reputation. Vader helps to rule the Galactic Empire with an iron fist, crushing anyone who gets in his way. Even his own soldiers fear him, as he is known to kill them without mercy for failing him. And out of this entire galaxy that fears him, there are possibly only 2 that are not afraid of him at all...TWO...Out of a couple (or more) billion! Those two of course being Luke Skywalker and Emperor Palpatine.

Green Lantern Optimus Prime (Transformers): Ironic that I gave a machine the ring of willpower, but it makes sense. Optimus has been a great warrior and wise leader among the Autobots. Despite the odds against the evil Decepticons, Optimus never gives up, never gives into despair. and never shows weakness in front of his troops. His strength of will is the soul driving force behind the war against the Decepticons. His skills in battle have also earned him the respect of his fellow Autobots, but his real strength comes form his sense of justice. Optimus is a fair and noble warrior, never resorting to underhanded tactics like cheating, kidnapping, or coercion. Even if it would seem like a sound strategy, Optimus Prime will never stoop to Megatron's level.

Blue Lantern Morpheus (The Matrix): He's always preaching about the prophecy that will save Zion and the whole planet. Even when humanity is living deep underground in a desperate attempt to hide from the machines, Morpheus still finds the faith to believe. Even when others do not believe or call him crazy, Morpheus remains stalwart in his faith. He chose to believe in just one man, Neo, to save them all. And in the end, it paid off. Neo fulfilled the prophecy that Morpheus strongly believed in, proving that sometimes, you just have to believe.

Indigo Lantern Duncan (Dragon Age): Ultimately, the thing that all Indigo Lanterns do is sacrifice, whether it be willingly or not. They leave all they once owned behind, devoting themselves entirely to the Indigo Tribe, finding fulfillment in brotherhood and spreading compassion. Duncan knows a thing or two about sacrifice. As a Grey Warden, Duncan has made more than a fair share of sacrifices, ranging from his old life to the lives of others. He exists now to only protect the people of Fereldan from the monstrous Darkspawn, as he and the other Grey Wardens are the only defense the land has against the Blight. Duncan might find similar fellowship within the Indigo Tribe, understanding the sacrifices that must be made for such a group to exist, just like the Grey Wardens.

Star Sapphire Amy Rose (Sonic the Hedgehog): At first, what Amy feels for Sonic might seem like a crush. But don't be fooled. She truly loves him. Why else would she continue to pursue him for his affection even after being shot down many times? She is devoted to him, no matter what. Even when Sonic loves another, Amy remains loyal to him, firmly believing that one day, she and him will be together. Amy also shows the darker side of love...Obsession. Sometimes, her passion for Sonic can drive her to rash actions and even violent mood swings when Sonic is in trouble. Those few times when Sonic is in danger, Amy is often one of the first on the scene, no wanting anything to happen to her Sonic.

White Lantern Arceus (Pokemon): Now before anyone says, "Hey, why isn't Xerneas, the LIFE Pokemon, a White Lantern," Let me just say this...If Arceus is basically the creator of all things Pokemon...Then that would imply that even Xerneas himself was created by Arceus. Plus, Arceus has shown to be as much of a destroyer as a protector. Life is not automatically benevolent. It creates and it destroys. Arceus is no different.

Black Lantern Albert Wesker (Resident Evil): While he could almost be considered a corpse already, Albert Wesker was last seen drowning and melting in the lava filled crater of a volcano. If Wesker has shown to be anything, it is resilient. And it seems that no matter where he goes, death is sure to follow. And now that Wesker is back and stronger than ever...What will Chris Redfield do now to defeat this nearly unstoppable zombie?
